About

Welcome to Curious Paradox Counseling

Congratulations on taking this courageous step in seeking a therapist! You deserve unconditional kindness and respect. In my office, I prioritize building a trusting relationship to support you in achieving your goals at a pace that feels safe and comfortable. I am looking forward to meeting you and assisting you on this journey of healing and growth! For all clients, I operate from a trauma-focused person-centered theory. In addition, I continuously seek out trainings to be the clinician you deserve. Being passionate about working with trauma, I am trained in utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, I have also completed Level 1 Gottman Method training to best support couples. To provide for my younger clients and those young at heart, I am trained in play therapy and sand tray. Currently, I am in Adler University's Sex Therapy Certificate program to become a certified sex therapist. I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I seek to provide safety and validation in all encounters with people from all identities. I offer individual therapy, relationship therapy, and group therapy at this time. My group therapy offering is for clients experiencing pelvic pain conditions to provide a safe space where your pain is seen and understood. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy walking my two corgis with my husband, ballroom dancing, and enjoying the beauty of Northwest Arkansas.
